Consider beginning and ending your meeting with a prayer.
When making Rosaries keep it simple. As a Group make one or two types of Rosaries. Don’t feel you need to know how to do it all.
Some groups, once they are proficient at rosary making, take their apostolate into the Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, leading the students and teachers in making Rosaries. Speak to family and friends who have children in schools ask them for school contact information. Speak to the Principal, asking if you can bring in supplies to lead the children in Rosary making.
If you have a child, grandchild, neice or nephew in the Catholic School System speak to his/her teacher offering your service to show the children how to make their own rosary.
Missions are not only overseas. Your Rosary making group can make Rosaries for hospitals, senior citizens in institutions or in their homes, university groups. Possibly have a basket of Rosaries in your church available to those who are in need of one. Members of the Armed Forces would also benefit from having a Rosary in their pockets.
Mission Canada Rosary Makers and Canadian Rosary Brigade have an extensive list of Rosary Making Groups both in and out of Ontario. If you wish, contact us and we will assist you in any way we can.
The Association of Rosary Guilds and Rosary Makers Newsletter is distributed via email and mailed to the homes of members. We strive to keep groups informed on various groups activities while sharing and spreading Marian and Catholic information.
